Double Wall Storage Tanks provide primary and secondary containment in one product. If your containment liquid is subject to EPA regulations, this tank is a great option. Each double wall tank allows safe confinement of hazardous chemicals, oils, surfactants and lubricants that could cause major environmental damage if accidentally discharged or spilled. The inner tank is completely and securely encased within the secondary tank allowing it to be compliant with 40CFR-264.193 requirements. Each outer tank can accommodate 110% of the inner tanks volume should the primary tank face an event. Sealing of the outer tank keeps elements from entering the enclosure during deployment or usage. By utilizing an integral secondary containment design, space is saved, and there is no need for additional containment costs or containment product additions. Double wall tanks are manufactured from UV infused polyethylene that stand up to harsh conditions and can contain chemicals to a maximum of 1.9 specific gravity. Bulkhead fittings with Santoprene gaskets and stainless-steel compression rings are offered at an extra charge. Non-vented models of plastic double wall storage tanks are an option as well. Tanks are free standing with flat bottom for placement on a level, stationary surface.
